Just another mom's blog...

But not just another mom!  I can't wait to get started with this blog!  I hope that you will find what I have to say relevant and I want this to be an open forum.  The only thing I ask is that you remember this is a public forum;  all posts/comments will be moderated and not all comments or responses will be posted, or they may be edited.

Some of what I will be blogging about here are mainly going to be topics that are relevant to moms, especially stay at home moms because I am a stay at home mom.  I am a Christian, but I am very open minded.  I am also a part time college student working for my Bachelor's degree in Behavorial Sciences, and taking some ministy/theology related classes as well.

There are a lot of reasons why I want to blog...I love to write, I love to talk, and I love to connect with other moms.  There are a lot of things going on right now that need to be discussed.  We need to use our voices, especially as parents, if we are concerned about our children's future.

Some of my topics will be political, and I appreciate open, honest, and factual feedback.  I'm not really big on rhetoric, or bashing a party, or a group of people.  I may not agree with what you have to say and you may not agree with me.  I will try to have a respectful tone because I am looking for readership, and interactive, RESPECTFUL communication.

I am also going to have some links to some of my favorite sites.  At one point I had a blog that featured other blogs, giveaways, etc.  I will probably start that again, but it will be a seperate blog.  I also have a website http://www.memoryboardsnmoore.com/ and I hope that you will visit my site and forward it on to anyone who might be interested in my boards and other items.
